VISA® Debit Cards

All TruPoint checking accounts include a free VISA Debit Card. It’s an ATM card and a checkbook all in one! The Debit Card allows you to make everyday purchases when you normally use a check. Your Debit Card is welcome wherever VISA is accepted. You can use your Debit Card to make  withdrawals  and transfer funds at any of our ATM locations – or to get cash at any ATM displaying the Honor, Cirrus, or VISA symbol. Best of all – it’s FREE! There is no monthly charge.*

For your safety, we're pleased to offer a 3-Step System that allows us to notify you of any potentially fraudulent debit transactions. 

IF FRAUD IS SUSPECTED ON YOUR ACCOUNT:
  1. First, you will receive a text alert* from 96923 with the option to respond and confirm fraud or no fraud. (The bank's short name will appear in the text alerts - TruPntBk.)
  2. If no response, you will receive an automatic email notification, which also has the option to confirm fraud or no fraud.
  3. If there is no response from the text or email, you will then receive an automatic phone call (between 8 am and 9 pm) to confirm or deny fraud.

IMPORTANT: Our messages will never ask for your PIN or account number.

FRAUD CENTER CONTACT DETAILS

The phone number for our Fraud Center is 1-800-237-8990. Customers can call this number any time they receive an alert. 

Consumer customers will receive a call alert from the phone number 1-800-872-0926.

If you add the above phone numbers as well as 96923 to your phone contacts and individually label them as "Fraud Center," it will display on your phone whenever you receive a call or text alert.**

Please contact us or visit your local TruPoint Bank office to ensure your contact information (phone number, email address, and physical address) are updated and accurate.

*You may incur charges when using an ATM other than TruPoint Bank.

***If you do not use one of the following phone carriers, you will not receive text alerts: Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Virgin Mobile, MetroPCS, Boost, and Sprint.

VISA® Alerts

With near real-time Alerts from TruPoint Bank powered by Visa, you can receive updates on your Visa® card activity. And this unique service is available free for TruPoint Bank Visa cardholders. After your Visa card has been used, you’ll receive an alert through text message or email. If there is fraudulent activity, you can find out within minutes and act quickly to resolve the situation.

How you use the service is up to you. You can choose to receive alerts when your Visa card is used for purchases over a specified amount, online transactions, purchases outside the United States, and more. You can even customize the purchase amount threshold—for example, setting it to only receive alerts for purchases above $50.

Select the delivery options that best meet your needs, with text messages, emails, or both for extra security and convenience. Each alert contains important information, including the purchase amount, merchant name and location (if available), and the last [four] digits of the Visa card used to keep you best informed.

All this for free for TruPoint Bank Visa cardholders!

Credit Cards

We do not offer credit cards at this time.

Direct Deposit

Direct deposit is a simple, free service that allows your employer to deposit payroll checks, dividends, and retirement checks automatically into your TruPoint Bank account.

Safe Deposit Boxes

Keep your important documents in a safe deposit box with us. Safe deposit boxes are offered at most of our TruPoint Bank locations. Annual rental fees vary according to the size of the desired box. Pay a visit to any TruPoint Bank location and speak with one of our friendly Customer Service Representatives. They will assist you in choosing the box that best suits your needs.

Stop Payments

A stop payment occurs when an account holder instructs the bank not to honor payment on a specific item(s). An oral stop payment is binding for 14 calendar days. The stop payment must be confirmed in writing within the 14 days in order to be binding for an additional six months. Call (276) 935-8161 or (888) 419-4222 in order to initiate a stop payment or visit any TruPoint Bank location to complete a stop payment request in writing.

Wire Transfers

A wire transfer is simply an electronic transfer of funds. A wire transfer allows people in different areas to exchange money quickly and easily. In order for an account holder to initiate a wire transfer, he/she must simply visit any TruPoint Bank location where our friendly staff will provide assistance in completing the request.
